After "upgrading" to the current trunk there is still an error message:
"Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "user_list.html" in /var/www/includes/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095"

Damn that line 1095 is a function call without any chance to find the source of the problem.

You probably want to check out the latest SVN:

svn co http://svn.fastdeploy.com/fastdeploy

That said, the configuration editor doesn't actually load the configuration and allow you to edit it.

This is rough beta software unfortunately so not everything works yet.

Hi there,

I installed fastdeploy a few hours ago and recognized two errors I can´t explain to myself.

Everything seems to work fine but when I try to load "Edit Configuration" or "Create/Edit Users and Groups" I´ll get the error
"Error loading '/config' (404 Not Found)" or "Error loading '/admin' (404 Not Found)".

OS is Debian 4.0 running Apache2 and PHP5 installed via apt.

What´s the problem?

Regards,
Patrick

Obviously I know that Fastdeploy is free and opensourced (correct me if I am wrong) but for those users who think this is a good piece of software. May be somewhere there is a little box where its user can pay a little money to encourage the author to keep this project active too?

FYI I've gone ahead and put a donation link on the front page for those interested in contributing to the Fastdeploy development efforts.

And when will the new ver be ready and will it has a good installer ?
Wish I had a specific ETA.   I will have a few open weeks at the end of this year to hopefully close out the next beta release early to mid January 2009.

Nov 28 01:45:11 bootp dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 202.***.***.211 from 00:16:01:94:bc:41 ((none)) via eth0
Nov 28 01:45:11 bootp dhcpd: DHCPACK on 202.***.***.211 to 00:16:01:94:bc:41 (fastdeploy) via eth0
Nov 28 03:45:10 bootp dhcpd: Wrote 2 leases to leases file.
I realize you're masking it here but is 202.***.***.211 the appropriate new subnet the machine should be on?
